Dermal Filler for Neck Lines

As my client came back for another session of neck line treatment, I thought it would be a great time to talk about the amazing results fillers can achieve in this area. Following is a photo of her after the 1st treatment, 4 months ago. I used 1 syringe of Belotero Balance for her and the effect should last about 9-12 months. She came back sooner as she wanted to smooth them out even more. I’ll post an after photo of her in a few weeks.

Neck Filler before and after

These horizontal neck lines are showing up on many people these days as we constantly look down at our smartphones and mobile devices. Some people might just have them at a younger age (thanks to genetics) or from neck issues. I’ve met quite a few people that were more bothered by these neck lines than the wrinkles on their face.

There are different treatments that can help with the skin texture itself of the neck, such as microneedling or PRP/PRF. Also, hyperdiluted Radiesse (filler) can promote collagen production, leading to smoother skin (I’ll have a post about this at some point). However, for these horizontal neck lines, filler placement in the lines to plump out the “dent” leads to the best results of smoothing out the lines.

To talk about specifics, the filler is injected in tiny amounts along the line with a small needle. A numbing cream is applied for 15-20 minutes beforehand, but it can still sting a bit as there is a needle involved. Right after the treatment, you’ll see redness and tiny bumps along the lines. Bruising can occur as well. The bumps and/or bruising will go down in a few days.

So how much is the treatment? I charge $500 for one treatment session (with 1 syringe of Belotero filler). For those who get multiple treatments at a time (such as Neurotoxins or Aquagold), I offer a 10% discount overall.

There are aesthetic treatments that results vary a lot depending on the person, but filler treatment for these deep neck lines generally have a very high satisfaction rate. Reach out if you would like to try it out!
